Sonu Sood Mourns Loss Of The COVID-19 Patient He Got Airlifted To Hyderabad; Says 'You Fought Like A Complete Tigress'
Sonu Sood has been doing everything he can to help the people in need. From managing to send back home migrant workers who had been stranded in the city to providing meals to the underprivileged, hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and medicines for COVID-19 patients, Sonu has done it all! The actor recently took to his Instagram and penned an emotional note as he mourned the death of a 25-year-old COVID-19 patient whom he got airlifted in an air ambulance from Nagpur to Hyderabad.

Last month, 25-year-old girl, Bharti was shifted to Hyderabad's Apollo Hospital as she had lost almost 85-90 percent of her lungs due to COVID-19. However, she sadly passed away. Sonu took to his Instagram and shared a post, "Bharti, a young girl from Nagpur whom I airlifted on an air ambulance to Hyderabad passed away last night. Rest In Power My Dear Bharti. You fough the last month like a complete tigress on an Ecmo machine. Even though I never met you, you'll Always hold a very special place in my heart. My condolences to her entire family. I'm going to meet them very soon. Life is genuinely unfair at times. 'Will miss you bharti'."

He captioned the post as, "This world will always miss you." Mouni Roy, Ridhima Pandit, Dia Mirza among others dropped comments under the post. One Instagram user wrote, "U did ur best to save her. May her soul RIP."

With the actor's help, Bharti was first shifted to Nagpur's Wockhardt hospital for treatment but the doctors had said that she needed a lung transplant or some special treatment. Sonu Sood contacted the directors of Apollo Hospitals and came to know about the treatment called ECMO and managed to shift her to Hyderabad.
